I have this same exact ring that I purchased new. It is 925 sterling from the American West collection by Carolyn Pollack. It is black onyx.

I checked my ring this morning to see if I could find the .925 and it is barely legible. It is at the bottom of the ring (or top) at the end of the inside rope design.
