Silver Jeweled Collar Necklace by Henryk Winograd

Silversmith Henryk Winograd preferred to work in pure silver (99.9% pure) rather than sterling silver and signed each of his creations with his hallmark "HW999" (see photo enlarged). This gorgeous collar necklace, measuring approx. 17", was created with twisted silver cable and accented with amber, pearls, emerald and citrine gems all bezel set along the collar. The cable necklace closes with a hinged hook, which operates loosely. This renowned artist worked in New York City and passed away in 2008. This extraordinary necklace would be a welcome gift and may be worn to formal gatherings or just to the office on Monday.
