Silver Peace Dollar in Sterling Silver Bezel

The “Peace” dollar was minted by the United States mint from 1921 to 1928, and 1934 to 1935. The design, and name, were chosen after a competition put forward by Congress to design a coin emblematic of the leave following World War I. Peace dollars contain 90% silver and 10% copper. The peace dollar is mounted in a sterling silver bezel to prevent damage to the coin and hangs on a sterling silver chain.
