The keys may appear tarnished in some photos due to the lighting and photo, however in person there is NO evident tarnishing on either the keys or the lock itself. All items are a shiny polished silver tone. This is the same size and style of padlock and keys that come standard with the Speedy, the Alma, Montaigne, and others— but in silver tone instead of gold. For reference, silver toned hardware like this is more often paired with the Epi version of these handbags and others. This lock can be used to replace a missing silver toned lock on your existing Louis Vuitton bag, or it can be repurposed and added to a chunky piece of jewelry (I’m picturing early/mid 2000’s Tiffany’s necklace vibes 😉) The padlock is fully functional and both keys work with it.
