Silver and Chiastolite ring size 8.25

The chiastolite stone is bezel set in sterling silver with a thick 2mm x 6mm textured shank. The stone measures approximately 15mm (w) x 16mm (l) x 7.5mm (h). The whole piece is brought to a brushed matte finish. The size is between 8 1/4 & 8 1/2. The stone is a cross cut section of a chiastolite, a variety of andalusite, more commonly referred to as the Cross Stone. The Cross stone contains cross-like formation of carbon and is only found in a few locations, such as, Massachusetts, California, and Brazil.
