I just noticed in your listing that it is handmade - do you know approx when it was made? I'm concerned that the metal strip across the top may not be to "well-loved" to look good when I carry it in my daughter's wedding in 3 weeks (which is outside and possible sunny and reflective of metal).

Could you tell me about or take an up-close photo of the metal strip - maybe just 2 or 3 inches of the metal strip so I can look at the little (normal and expected) scuffs on that metal strip. I don't mean to sound picky, I'm acting like Mom-zilla lol. thank you.

@susan032913 also in case u r interested for the future/questions asked it's true silver color both metal & the bag itself & the only wear is the interior. It somehow over time while in my closet discolored the satin inside (i would i guess call it oxidized) bc it didnt see much action it was used only the one night so not sure why that happened to it but it still opens & closes just fine. Got it from a store in my town near the hamptons in 2006 that handmakes jewelry & bags & is family run.
