The metal closer can be flipped up and closed above the bag if you have something bigger to fit in. I added a picture like that too.
The bag is brand new I only took it out to dinner one time so it is basically unused and in perfect condition. Let me know if you have more questions😊

I’m not sure which iPhone 15 you have, I have a different phone so I would check against those measurements, but the bag is bigger than a large cellphone so I do think it would fit
