Siren Cameo

Handmade cameo of a young siren listening to the ocean through a seashell, with an open oyster behind her. Cameo back is a calming blue and relief design is a creamy white, both are constructed with clay and baked with a finishing glaze to give a light pinkish clear sheen. The cameo is affixed to a brass back and secured with an 8 inch metal and beaded chain on either side, then finished off with an antique brass clasp. Made from recycled jewelry components and materials. As this is a handmade item, no two are alike and slight imperfections and variations in the colour, texture, and appearance enhance the artisan nature of the product.
