These were the first shoes that walked me out of nursing school and into the real world of nursing. These shoes experienced all the firsts with me- birth, death and dying, tragedy, joy, heartbreak, and every bodily fluids you can imagine. Which was fine, and easily wiped off with bleach as they are waterproof! They are WELL WORN in and not necessarily for a buyer who plans to wear them as a Healthcare worker. The inner soles of Danskos conform to the wearer, so they probably would not fit right or comfortably on anyone else. These shoes are more or less of the "collectable" variety. If you are of the specific and treasured clientele who would love these shoes because of the heart and "soles" that have gone into them, these are for you. If you are looking for shoes to wear to work- probably not. Complete transparency.
