I'm one to do quite a bit of sharing, always tossing the larger sized things out into my crowd of friends,(do feel bad for my smaller friends & toss a few their way too). So, enjoy yourself here, don't be discouraged when things get slow bc selling does go in spells. You'll meet lots of ppl, make a few new real friends. It is fun. @sharonsteele48 They think stroke or Ischemic Attack. Either way she's had every test in the book & she's slowly improving but stil not right. It's gonna take time for improvement. She's only 6yrs old. At 1st I thought she jst hurt her rear legs & it caused lameness but Cat scan & MRI were neg to sites. Neuro vet suspected stroke. Bck for more Neuro work up next wk aftr rest & to see if any better. She's walking now but afraid of steps, hve to lift her up them. She's on 2 kinds of pain med for poss injury, all her lab cultures neg so no infec, it's just been awful. Bck & forth to vet evry day for 1 thing or another. She's been incont of urine too. My poor puppy. My mom has also been everywhere for labs, ultrasounds, has cat tomorrow. I shld just buy ambulance Srvce, lol...

@dobegirl I swear I was thinking to myself recently that I need a loan to go to school, get a fashion degree (or at the least learn how to sew) and make some NICE flattering clothes for us plus sized girls. All you see out there are frumpy or plain black clothes! We want cute stuff too! It's bullshit that we get the shit end of the stick! I created a blog for all of us girls who aren't stick thin on where to shop that has clothes that we can love instead of clothes that "just fit" it's in the super beginning stages but ill send you the link! luv :-) I know how difficult it is trying to find nice things in larger size clothing. I take an xlg & u hve to be so careful w the sizing. An xlg can be any sz from a 12 -> 18 nowadays. And.. Alot of sellers don't advertise items as Jr xlg & you can't tell by other items in their closets. I've been stuk many times. There is 1 posher on here, @slimprincess, who has a fabulous selection of things for women sizes med to 3xlg. Maybe you cld get some hints from her. She's a real sweetheart. And her things are true to size! Well, I wish you luck & you make sure you keep in touch. I'll keep checking your closet jst in case. Thanks for everything. I should be back to full scale buying mode in abt 2mos here..

I'm not huge but w the sizing changes now a sz 12 or 14 being considered a LARGE!! it's terrible trying to get sz explanations sometimes on posh, unless I want to wear a wallet or handbag, lol..

Aww thanks @sashay_chantee 💙💙 @dobegirl I feel your pain about confusing sizing! I've even seen some brands still stuck in the heroin-chic ages that think a 7/8 is an XL! Maybe for little girls, but not women! LOL I'm always glad to measure stuff out, if you're not terribly sure on something's size 😀

@stacemonger I HATE vanity sizing. Women are so stuck on a number, so companies play into it. I wear a 4 at Express... I am NOT a 4, I'm usually a 6-8 at most places and a 8 for sure at H&M.

I never dreamt a sz 12 wld be an Xlg one day. Not that I'm a sz 12, but I just wonder where are the women who wear the "old sz" 14 -> 20 szs to go & what sizes will they become? And then there's the horrible effects on our little girls, already worried abt their sz at such young ages? Wish you Best of Luck w your new closet & sales. I'll be checking in soon. :-)

Great post- I echo your sentiments. And in reading through your thread, we share the same pet peeve when people don't know the difference between a jrs and misses size! You have very nice things in your closet! I have sizes 2-16 in my closet. They are all mixed together. Happy Poshing!

@tessturbo I looked through your closet. What I'm really looking for are pullover sweaters. Much easier to hop into & use. Gets cold on East coast so usually wear turtlenecks under pullover sweaters during the day when outdoors. Jackets too cumbersome. Thank you anyway ☺️

@tessturbo Yes I am. I've owned & bred them since 1975. I work with a lg international kennel to breed champions, located in PA but I live in DE. That's the main reason for sweaters & jeans, always exercising or training Dobermans or caring for new litters. No fancy wear needed for that 😂

You're right, you need casual & comfortable attire! Our Dobergirl had a friendly, lovable AKC mother and a physically-imposing, off-the-boat, papers-in-German, multiple-times-over Schutzhund champion as her sire. She truly got the best of both -- plus she was good with cats. My husband had her before we met; I believe she came from a breeder in Virginia. All the best to you and your dogs!! 💜
