vchacon2012 @tawnycat1 For some reason I didn't get your message. Yes, I did. It was not as described but I'm going to keep it anyway because I love the style. The seller was such a liar. The bag was supposedly " new with no signs of wear." I think she took the pics a year before. She said her daughter used it. It was in pretty bad shape. :(

vchacon2012 @jamielynnsky Hi Jamers, Please keep Scout in your prayers. Yesterday, he was able to get into Jem's pain meds and consume almost the entire bottle. He's been in the animal hospital since last night. He may have acute kidney and liver failure. I'm waiting to find out ( he's on a 48 hour watch).

jamielynnsky Oh no I'm so sorry!! That is so scary. I am thinking and praying! Please keep my Mom in your prayers as well. 3weeks ago, on Mother's Day she fell off their roof and is now at a Nursing home/rehab place, she is in a lot of pain, broken bones, ect,. But I'm praying that her spirits keep up, she has moments of such discouragement. I will pray for your poor pups and let me know what happens! 😢

I've been caring for my dad since April. My mom's in stage 4 kidney failure and has been rehabilitating in Oregon. I hope your mom gets well soon. Yes, I'll keep you updated. I should know if Scout will suffer any permanent damage by tomorrow.

jamielynnsky We never know what other people are going through do we? We need to all be kind and patient with each other. This is not a fun year for your family. I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom. I can't even imagine. How is your dad holding up? How are you doing? Keeping your guys in my prayers. It's so easy to think things are good and then in a second things can change.

vchacon2012 So true. My dad is holding up okay. He's 89 and has a touch of dementia so was confused at first. He kept thinking my mom had left him. My mom is doing really well. She's been er cooperating with my cousin in Oregon ( she's a vegan and a dietician). My mom still has 25 percent of her kidneys functioning, so she's going to be okay. We just put her in a 5 week program to help her preserve her remaining kidney function.@jamielynnsky

vchacon2012 It worked. She's returning home on Wed. She's learned to cook, become vegetarian, and has lost 15 pounds. @jamielynnsky Please keep me updated on your mom too. I hope she is feeling better. Oh my, how many bones did she break? What a terrible accident.

jamielynnsky Wow that's amazing, I'm so glad to hear that your mom is going to be ok! We were worried initially about the concussion and back fractures but they are all healing nicely. She has 6 broken ribs, both shoulders were broken so no weight baring on either arm, and a broken knee. She only needed one surgery so that was a blessing.

vchacon2012 @jamielynnsky Oh Jamie, your poor mother. Those are all such serious injuries. That's terrible. I'm glad she is doing better. She sounds like my dad. I caught him on the ladder the other day and had to scold him. He's so frail now. Well, I'm glad to know she's better. Stay in touch!

jamielynnsky Thank you! You too! At first it was such a touch and go thing because we didn't know what to expect but now that she's healing and getting therapy we are all a lot more calm lol! But she's like a little T-Rex, she can't reach for anything so she kind of needs someone with her all the time lol

vchacon2012 No news yet. They did more blood work last night but in order to tell if there was any permanent damage, I have to wait until tonight when they do the final blood tests on both dogs. Ug, it's torture waiting. I went to see Scout last night. He's afraid of them and won't let them walk him. He was holding his urine for 26 hours and peed on me. I took him for a walk and he urinated 4 times. 😕 They said they are too busy for me to come during the day so I have to wait until 8:00. @jamielynnsky

vchacon2012 They are okay. My mom had to go on dialysis, and unfortunately her veins are so small she’d had to have 3 separate surgeries to improve her circulation ( the shunt they added caused difficulties). Still, she’s been going to church more often, so that’s a good thing. My dad has dementia, but he has his good days and bad days. Congratulations on your home. I’m so happy for you. I’m sure it was a huge job getting settled. How’s work been? @jamielynnsky
