These Smart Wool merino wool thin gloves are great for an autumn / spring evening or as a base layer for mittens during frigid winters. They’re touchscreen compatible; see photos to see how the index fingers have been peeling a little. There’s also a pinhole on the right palm (see photo). Color is Smartwool Charcoal Heather, a dark grey that’s nearly black. Merino wool is quick-dry, temperature regulating, and odor resistant. It’s soft and not itchy for most people. These are lightweight and pack down small for travel or backpacking. Sadly, I’ve developed a wool allergy, which is why I’m getting rid of these amazing gloves.
