All of our items come from a smoke free home. We also try not to use overly fragrant detergent because we know some people are sensitive to that. However, we are pet friendly so please keep that in mind! We do our best to keep fur off our items, but sometimes it can’t be helped.

hjevans109 Hey, fur is no problem for me but cigarette smoke smell is! I have received 2 packages from 1 seller and both smelled of smoke. She says no one in the home smokes. So disappointing. I use dryer sheets and let the item "air out". Do you have any other tips for removing odor?

sopranoduck @hjevans109 I’ve traded with three people who smoke - it’s horrible!!!! I think it should be something they let people know. I had a handbag I had to sit out in my basement for months before the smell just lightened. And I have a watch now with a silicone band that smells like smoke. I’ve washed it with Dawn and it still smells. I got a bunch of ‘gifts’ that were smoky clothes I had to wash 3 times to get the smell out. It’s the worst.

sopranoduck @hjevans109 Even the box and tissue paper they shipped it in smelled! I immediately took that out to my trash bin outside. I hate that smell! I was a smoker in college because it was the cool kid thing to do… so I can smell it a mile away.
