*I believe this will case likely best fits an ipad mini, not regular ipad. I purchased new from another seller and it does not fit my ipad. That's the only reason i'm selling, as I love Smythson and have many other items in this color. If anyone has the larger case in this color and would be willing to sell to fit my Ipad OS 15.02, that would be great!

I have an iPad 9 which is 6.8x9.8, the current case is 7.2x10.2 -ish. It sounds like this will fit...but want to see what you think based on the ipad gen you bought it for that didn't work. The 9 is the same size as the 7&8. Thanks!

Still wondering if this will fit the iPad 9...is the 10"x7" dimension you list for the cover end to end or the insert part? That doesn't seem like it'd be for a mini, but want to make sure before I purchase. I'm hoping my 9.8x6.8 fits. Thanks! ☺️
