Snowflake Obsidian Crystal stone Bracelet

Snowflake Obsidian is Black Obsidian with grey/white feldspar inclusions. It is formed via volcanic lava which quickly solidifies into a clear or black volcanic glass. To create snowflake obsidian feldspar minerals/silic acids are in the volcanic lava as it is hardening crystalizing within the obsidian. A lot of Snowflake Obsidian is from Millard County, Utah. Approximately 2.5 million years ago (late Tertiary Period), volcanic eruptions in the Black Spring area of the Black Rock Desert in western Utah spewed out volcanic rocks rhyolite, pumice, and obsidian. It is also found in California and Mexico.
