ashra99 Is this a parka style coat? Ie with a waterproof outer layer?

ashra99 @ks__closet sorry I meant like “water resistant”. I know it’s not like a tundra coat but is it like a parka in that it has an additional layer over the down?

ks__closet @ashra99 ah gotcha! I don’t think it’s water resistant either. The whole coat is filled with down / feathers! I think the part you’re referring to is the bib part, which is not actually another layer, it’s just an insert piece by the zipper that can be zipped up independently of zipping up the entire coat. ks__closet Sorry, last note - the bib part is not removable and is literally just a small part with a collar that can be zippered.

ashra99 @ks__closet thank you for answering! No sorry I didn’t mean “layers” like clothing layers. But like the way that parkas have fabric coverage on top of the down puffer, whereas puffers are more “bare”. From the photos it looks more like a parka but it’s hard to discern the texture

ashra99 @ks__closet Do you happen to remember the name of the coat model? If you look up images of the Soia Kyo “Payton” parka, you’ll know what I see by “additional fabric coverage on top of the down puffer”.

ks__closet @ashra99 sorry, I don’t recall the style of the coat as it’s at least 10 years old, or more, but the exterior of the coat is a stiffer material that’s rather sturdy, and not soft like a puffer coat. Hope this helps!
