arnych Hi Bonnie. I've tried ways to contact you from this site, but found no obvious place. Glad that I accidentally found this way. I'd be very glad to buy 4 bowls, four dinner plates. Wanted them for years. As each item is hand painted, if not too much trouble would it be possible to see photos of thistle art on the plates and bowls? I've found that some Thistleware are painted with more detail and care than others. If I can buy, please let know how to contact to buy. Thank you. Sincerely, Arnold

arnych In my email I wrote: Thank you. I'm very interested in buying 4 of the 10 inch plates, 4 of the 8 inch plates, and 4 soup bowels (I think they are 4 and 5/8ths, or 6 inch across. As the quality of the painted thistle design varies from piece to piece, if not too much trouble, photos of each plate, etc. would be wonderful. arnych Wow! I'm so glad to hear from you. Thank you for writing back. Thank you. I live in California. Los Angeles. I'm interested in photos of the 10 inch and 8 inch plates you have; and the soup bowles, which I think are 5 and 7/8ths or 6in. across (I hope 6 in.). Lastly, the rectangular 'bowl' that's sitting just to the right of the covered butter dish in your photo. I know it's a lot to ask of you to send pictures of the items you have in these categories, of the Thistle art for each item.

When you can, as I imagine you may also be very busy, let me know how it may be going with the photos of the items thistle ware painted images, so I can choose. If my request was too much to ask, of course I'll understand. I still want to buy the items, and would rely on your discrimination of what are the better painted, more finely detailed thistle images on the pottery. Thanks. Arnold

arnych PS If you haven't already taken the photos, if possible, I'd like to make 3 item changes. If you have, I apologize very much. No need to take any extra. This is my final list: still want to buy 4 ea. of the 10 and 8 in plates; all 3 large bowls on the upper right of the ad photo; both of rectangular dishes on the lower right of the photo. Lastly decided to leave off the small 6 in. cereal bowls and not buy them. I'm sorry for any trouble from these late changes. Hope sale can still be made.
