We made them in a super soft leather that molds to your foot, plus gave them a cushy Ortholite sole that feels like walking on a cloud. Feel good facts: the laces on all our sneakers are now made entirely from recycled plastic bottles, and the soft upper is made at a LWG gold-rated tannery using chrome-free (meaning no harmful toxins for the workers or the environment) leather. 75% of our leather is chrome-free and/or certified by the Leather Working Group. LWG rated tanneries promote sustainable leather tanning processes like reducing energy and water consumption. Ortholite® provides long term cushioning, moisture reduction, and high breathability. Each eco-friendly insole has open-cell foam technology and is made with bio-oil content sourced from castor beans.
