Vintage LV purse does have SD marked but date code is rubbed off. Does not have inner pocket because some older 1's didn't have this feature and this is definitely vintage but in really nice shape for its age. Canvas is in pretty good shape with just a very few markings. Piping is intact. No dust bag or lock. In what I consider to be good used vintage condition. Purse is at least 30 yrs old.

@poshymom , I'm sorry probably not. That's the little 1 that's only like 6.5 x 5 isn't it? I'm almost 6' tall and a size 18. I love cross body purses but the smallest I use now is about 9x9. Anything smaller makes me look like I'm carrying a little kids purse. I'm so sorry. I put my MCM purse up for sale because of my size now. When I was skinnier it didn't look so bad. I hope you understand.

@samanthalbertt , Hun you can either take it to a pawn or jewelry shop or you can get a small scale that weighs in grams. They sell them even at Walmart to like weigh food. If you decide to buy a scale just make sure it weighs in grams. If you or your Mom has a jeweler just drop by and ask them to weigh it. They usually do it for free. A. Pawn shop will weigh it and tell you what the gold is worth but they wouldn't give you as much as if you can sell it on here because of the diamonds. I hope this helps you. I took mine to my jeweler.

@zipper, thank you but it's already been here a while. People want those date codes on the bags and this 1 is very old. I can barely make out an SD on it but not a date code and it is so old it doesn't even have a pocket inside. It's in great shape for vintage but i either don't get enough traffic or being vintage is not a great thing for purses and women ! Lol. Thank you so much for sharing and I will share for you also!

@schandler Being vintage is a good thing! It doesn't have a number but it can be authenticated for $6.00 on line by carol diva.com. Does it have label on the inside of any kind. You might have to come down on the price, a lot of people like the vintage ones. You can get a cleaner to even out the patina on the leather. Not expensive about $8.00 a bottle

@zipper , what kind of cleaner? I use the apple cleaner and conditioner on my coach purses but afraid to try anything on these LV's . No tag inside. I would trade for 1 of the 1's with a push lock. French luggage or something. I've seen a few of them.

@schandler that's what I use apple you have to be careful with the cleaner! But it works better on the LV than on the coach and other color bags. The cleaner will take the color off. You can use the conditioner and a magic eraser by Mr clean and take the dark off the handles or other leather. It takes several times to lighten it up. When you first do it it looks dark it takes 12 to 24 hrs to dry. But then it dries lighter. It will lighten what some people call water marks on the LV.

@schandler I just use the conditioner gentle circles with the eraser. You have to be careful with the cleaner but it will work better on the louis really dark patina then put conditioner on it and give it time to dry! 😊takes patients.

@infamisstrish , it has a very small white mark on the bottom left of the canvas. It may be white out. I haven't tried to clean it because I'm scared to. I will post a pic tomorrow. The line is about 1/2 inch. Long and I had forgotten where it was but just found it. I can try to get a pic of it tonight but it would be easier to see it in the sunlight. If I didn't tell you you wouldn't have noticed it but this is an expensive piece so I want people to be very aware that this is a vintage piece and not brand new.

@infamisstrish , are you sure you are going to be happy with an older bag? If you had an old vintage 25 and didn't like it you probably aren't going to be happy with this. I'm not trying to change your mind but I don't want to push you into anything either. I haven't had anyone beat the door down for this purse yet. As a matter of fact I was just emailing a girl I talked to awhile back about why these bags haven't sold yet. Her name is @iconicfashion. Let's wait and see what she says. She may even have a newer bag for you. I know you love the Marc Jacobs and that is in very gently used condition. Would you want that and the papillon, nix that the papillon is even more vintage. I guess I'm just asking you to sit on this for a few days before trading. If you want I can place a not for sale sign on it. I would feel horrible if you didn't like it.
