The "Betsy" pitcher, in the shape of a woman holding flowers, was produced in various colors and decorations. This piece has a hand painted background of red brick outlines. The flowers are painted in blue and pink.
Hand painted pieces were produced beginning in 1938. The factory closed in 1957.
Approx 8.25 inches tall
Marks: Blue Ridge China, Hand Painted Underglaze, Southern Potteries Inc.

@beth_galloway Hi! It’s in excellent condition minus that blemish on the handle. It’s never been cracked/repaired. That blemish feels rough to the touch. Not sure what it is. It was my aunt’s who is no longer with us. Thank you for your interest!
