Vintage grey spaghetti poodle figurine by MCM Mid/century modern Southern California pottery company Hardie Arnita, which was founded in the 1940s in El Segundo. The company name is a combination of the husband and wife founders. Finally a poodle which is perfect for those with silver standard or other poodles which is a color that is hard to find in figurines as most are in black or white! It has a sweet face with hand-painted eyes and features. It is in excellent condition with the exception of a chip behind one ear which fortunately is not visible from the front as the white semi-porcelain exposed is on the back of the ear. This is reflected in the price. It stands about 6 1/4” high and 6 1/4” long. He is very solid and heavy vs. Goebel and other vintage poodle figurine which feel much lighter.
