Spaghetti Squash Seeds

This listing is for a packet of 20 spaghetti squash seeds (cucurbita pepo), also known as a field pumpkin. Spaghetti squash, known for its stringy, spaghetti-like meat and delicious flavor, is rich in vitamin B6, vitamin C and calcium. It's a fairly versatile squash, with edible flowers (delicious when sauteed in butter and garlic). My favorite way to serve it is in circular ringe, spritzed with olive oil and garlic powder, and baked on an open cookie sheet. It comes out so incredibly good! These seeds will grow vines that need 3-4 feet apart to grow happily. They can grow upwards or outwards, and can do just fine in a container garden, if that's what space you have to work with. Plant after danger of frost, and they thrive pretty well in a variety of environments, from humid to dry.
