One book is a beginner learning book the other is a study book with essays. Both books are preowned. Spanish for reading is a lil over 10 1/2 inch tall and is 1 inch thick. Black and white text with a few photos and essay lessons. Spanish dictionary for beginners is 8 1/4 inch tall and almost 1/4 inch thick. It has colorful illustrations. Glossary at back.
