A rare porcelain figurine by Spanish maker Casades depicts a young boy with his camera "Photographer" ready to shoot photos. This young photographer is made of porcelain and finished in a high gloss glaze. It's origin is Spain circa 20th century at the famous Spanish porcelain manufactory Casades Porcelanas Spain. Very much the quality of work as Lladro. It is marked "Porcelanas Casades Made in Spain" stamped in blue. Condition is very good with a small manufacturing flaw. It looks as if the edge of the pant leg was skimmed a bit during production and the glaze was put over top of the skim. It is mostly smooth with the glaze over top but does have a tiny sharp point. Still a very beautiful masterpiece of work, hand-painted under glaze in pastel colors. Traditional for Spanish porcelain. Measures 6 3/4" T x 2" W x 2" D. This is a lovely item to own or to give as a special gift. Rare hard-to-find piece to add value to a collection!
