This dress is in pristine condition. The seam down the back has been reinforced. It does not detract from the style of the dress at all and if anything it enhances the fit. It has been professionally sewn and is completely unnoticeable when worn. I am noting it here so you will be well aware of this prior to purchase and it will not be an issue. It can be seen in the photos as well as the measurements. If this is going to be a problem for you please look for a different dress. The dress is priced accordingly.
