Spode "Durham" Collectors' Plate

My late uncle collected Spode plates featuring illustrations from ancient manuscripts and gospel books. He had this plate stored in his attic in northern Maine for many years. I couldn't bring myself to just toss it, so am listing it for your consideration. From a description I found with his full collection of seven plates, the Durham is described as follows: "Inspired by the decorated pages of the Northumbrian Gospel manuscript of the 8th century which has survived the Viking, Danish and Norman invasions."
