meagan251 @doogahy I added another photo for you to see it on my shoulder. Depth is showing about 9 inches. And the strap is about 9 inches from the top of your shoulder to the top of the bag

doogahy @meagan251 Hi thank you for the information. Hope I an not confusing you. The base us where the bag sits at the bottom. it usually measures like 3or 4 inches. i really like the bag but I also love a bag with the base sitting flat. thank you

meagan251 @doogahy base is about 2.5 inches. The base doesn’t have anything that makes it rigid and stand up straight on its own, but I believe when I had things in there, it was able to do so.
