St. John Knits Vintage 1960s Long-Sleeve Dress & Sleeveless Vest 2-Piece Set

This vintage 2-piece sweater dress and sweater vest set looks exactly like something Peggy Olson on Mad Men would've worn as she worked her way up the male-dominated corporate advertising ladder. The 2-piece set was made by St. John for Neiman Marcus in the 1960s. I think the sweater knit of both pieces is St. John's Santana knit. The dress zips in the back and has a turtleneck that buttons in the back to be worn up or unbuttoned to be worn down (as I have shown it in the photos). The top and long sleeves of the dress are navy blue while the skirt part of the dress is a navy and white geometric diamond pattern with solid navy blue trim at the bottom. The vest is sleeveless and features the same blue and white diamond pattern that can be found on the skirt of the dress. Both of these pieces are in excellent vintage condition with no flaws anywhere that I can find. I don't see a size tag on either piece, but they fit my size 4-6 dress form well. Please review the below measurements carefully to ensure they're a good fit for you. The measurements were taken on the front of both pieces with them laid flat. Note that both pieces are very stretchy Santana knit sweaters, so can expand to accommodate somewhat larger dimensions than the ones shown below.
