joanne__ @bch1395 Hi, so according to this website (https://suitsoutlets.com/pages/size-chart), size 40R is a 38-40” chest size all the way around— pit to pit is generally half the chest size and the sweater I’m selling is about 20” pit to pit which is approximately 40” chest size. Length I usually measure as shoulder to hem of shirt. According to this website a 40R is typically a mens medium, which this sweater is. Hope that helps
