Star Trek Bronze Medallion engraved signature by Allan Asherman

This is a very special collectible for any Star Trek fan. This Bronze medallion was designed by Allan Asherman, author of THE STAR TREK COMPENDIUM, THE STAR TREK INTERVIEW BOOK, THE MAKING OF STAR TREK II, WRATH OF KHAN and more. His engraved signature is right below the images of Mr. Spock and Captain Kirk. The medallion recognizes the first nationally televised episode September 8 1966. The medallion is numbered #1. However the number made is unknown. The coin edge is engraved with AMT BRONZE 2 09184. The medallion is 1.5” in diameter suspended on a 24” link chain. Due to the quite sad fact that Mr.Asherman passed away in 2023 unexpectedly from a fall down a flight of steps makes this piece more special to his fans. It can be worn close to your heart. He was such an aficionado of comic books and everything Star Trek. He will be missed.
