I want to ask you : are you sure this Start Rite shoe is a big child's size 1 1/2? Because this an English shoe, that would be a size 2 1/2, like for a 7 year old child. However, this looks way too big to be even that. Could this possibly be a big kids size 7 1/2? From the shoe inside, it sure looks like it says 7 1/2 rather than 1 1/2! Lol. Do you realize how big a big kid / men's size 7 1/2 is? That's a 8 1/2 men's USA, or a European size 41. I wear a 9 men's / European 42! - Codi

Start Rite did make shoes far into adult sizes in the 1980s and 1990s, for sure. I have a dark green T strap shoe in a size 8 1/2 men's (41 European)!!

The sole of the shoe looks so long in comparison to the heel of the shoe. It makes me wonder if it is a 7 1/2 big kids / 8 1/2 men's. If so oh my goodness. - Codi
