Steiff Jocko & Larger Monkey

This is Steiff's Jocko measuring approximately 4.5 inches in height. Jocko is fully jointed and made of dark brown mohair with a felt face, hands and feet. Jocko is in excellent condition with good mohair coverage. There are no flaws to his felt hands and feet. He has his Steiff ID and U S Zone ID tag under his right arm, indicating that he was made in the US occupied zone of Berlin, Germany between 1947 and 1953. He is pictured on pg 276 of Gunther Pfeiffer's Steiff Sortiment 1947-2003. Jocko has a very cute expression and is an excellent example of Steiff's post war production. He is held by a larger Steiff monkey wearing a red felt hat.
