laughnjar other than the 925 hallmark, have you done anything else to the ring to confirm it is in fact Sterling silver? I ask because of the 25 or so sterling silver rings I've purchased from Hallmark vendors the past year too have been hallmarked as Sterling 925 but as soon as I applied heat to them to size them they melted! and so they were absolutely not sterling silver. now I apply solder Heat as soon as I receive any ring. thanks
