Sterling Chain-Pendant Set 19g - Abalone in Filigree Setting - 24" Italy Figaro

The pendant and chain in this set, from different makers, share a sinuous style. 1) Pendant: A blue-green slice of abalone sits high on a filigreed portrait frame in sterling silver. Luminous gem changes with the light. The 12-gram pendant measures 50x32 mm, the gem is 24x18mm. The filigreed bail is 4x9mm on the inside. Quality setting, probably machine made, stamped "925" on the reverse. Possibly made in Thailand though not marked. There's a shiny coating on the gem, probably resin. Shows fine lines consistent with a used item but no noticeable flaws. The abalone is uncovered on the reverse, for those wearing stones for metaphysical reasons. 2) The Figaro chain was made in Italy. It's 3mm wide and weighs 7.5 grams. Its 24-inch length lets the sparkling pendant nestle at the bosom. Quality chain can be used with other pendants, of course.
