Sterling Silver Clear Quartz Ring

Sterling Silver, (stamped 925), Mountain Crystal Quartz ring, size 8. The faceted cut of this pear shaped stone creates brilliant refraction in all light sources and the crystal clear appearance draws attention on its' own. The stone has a deep sterling bezel set with rope detail encircling the top of the stone. The band splits on either side of the bezel and merges into a single band. Mountain crystal quartz, or rock crystal, (sometimes referred to as "Alaska Diamond"), is found throughout the world with some of the clearest specimens found on mountain tops, hence one of its identifiers. Clear quartz simply does not contain enough trace minerals to affect its' coloration so it appears clear with very few inclusions.
