Sterling Silver Filigree Pin Brooch w Glass Cabochon Insert Vtg Costume Jewelry

Interesting piece of antique jewelry, I believe it is handmade because it is a bit crudely made and isnt perfectly square. It is silver of some type but it is not marked so I cant say for sure, if it is sterling but I think it is. Silver filigree frame with leaf design and a large glass faceted cabochon in the center. I'm guessing 1920s -30s because it does not have a safety catch but it could be earlier. Comes in a new jewelry box, great for storage or for gifting. Box size varies. Size - approx 1.25" l x .1" w Condition: Excellent for its age, I have given it a light polish, it could use another if you want a shiny silver finish. There is some small bits of black in spots on the inside rim of the piece which I think are just tarnish that needs to be removed. Have you found your thing of beauty?
