Sterling Silver Top Lid Vanity Jar Cut Glass Powder Crest Flowers Embellished Boudoir Victorian Marked Signed Sterling 925/1000 marked under the lid I’m not sure if it’s crystal due to the rainbows appearing in bright light or cut glass. It’s heavy for the size, thick and about the size of a softball. The lid has a few dents on the side. I flipped it over to show the same dents at different angles. The inside has a scratch probably from some type of scooper or makeup brush, and some light wear on the bottom. Is it antique or vintage? I know it’s very old since it belong to my grandmother but don’t know the history. I can tell you that she was born in 1919 and was a saver of interesting items but not a hoarder. I polish the lid many months ago and didn’t polish the inside. Great for earrings, jewelry, secret stash or a sugar bowl.
