@pg001 Hi Paula. I do not believe the amethyst is real. It is sterling silver with a gold plated accent. It’s much prettier than what I could capture in photos.

@reebob thanks, yes it’s very nice. I would be surprised that a company would put fake amethyst in 925 silver. Unless you were told by seller when you purchased it, is that the case?

@pg001 I bought this at a holiday fair around Christmas years ago. I don’t know for sure if it’s real or not. I just liked the weight of the ring and the color of the stone.
