Sterling Sz 10-10.5 Modern Cushion Cut Smoky Quartz Ring 6g Unisex

Sleek modern silver setting for a cushion cut gemstone described as smoky quartz. Weighs 6 grams. Size 10-10.5. For men, women, everyone. I purchased it online described as "sterling silver platinum plated brown stone smoky quartz ring 2.6 carats." I dunno about platinum...but it looks like sterling to me and passes the ice cube test (melts ice and transfers cold fast). The setting has an unreadable mark that looks like 2 characters. The gemstone has sharp facets and nice sparkle, which makes me think it's genuine stone. It has some light scratches and a surface stain (possibly from an alkaline cleaner.) If it were glass, the scratches would be more noticeable and the facets chipped, I think. If it were cubic zirconium, it would be harder than quartz and not likely to be scratched. At any rate, it is beautiful. The ring has served its purpose for me so I am moving it along.
