Sterling silver 7" gravy ladle - Chantilly pattern by Gorham w/old marks

I am selling this gravy ladle, made of .925 sterling silver by Gorham. The pattern is Chantilly, which was introduced in 1895. This ladle would have been used originally to serve gravy, broth, or other condiment. This ladle is sturdy and substantive. It is stamped STERLING PAT 1895 on the back of the handle, along with the three "old" Gorham sterling hallmarks (lion - anchor - G). It is not monogrammed. This ladle is in good vintage condition, with light scratches consistent with years of use. It is freshly polished, with some patina left for character. Dimensions: Length: 7" Weight: 74g (2.4 ozt.)
