Description *This is a very beautiful victorian era oil painting of a nest with butterfly and wildflowers. * Originally comes from a Rhode Island estate. * Comes from Leeds in England. Painted by Grimshaw. * indistinctly signed with an initial “JAG” Measurements *Size: 9 x 12 inches without the frame and 18 x 19 approximate with a very heavy carved gilded frame. Condition * frame is relatively newer I believe but I’m not sure if this was the original frame for it. . I could be wrong. iI is indeed a very stunning piece of art. *A minor paint loss on edges, over all it is in very good condition despite of its age. it is over 150 years old.
