Stippling. "Zebra dot" 8.5" x 11" white get pen on black paper my art is my therapy. when I'm stressed or have an overload of anxiety if I sit down and draw the scratching of the pencil on the paper, the rhythmic monotone motion of my hand all calms and focuses me. until I caught covid, no one really saw much of my art it was simply therapy for me but covid changed my world gave me heart failure and made me unable to physically do what I'm used to doing so therefore my art had to try to become my survival. pencil sketches are a sign that I'm facing some stress stippling such as this are signs that I'm facing some overwhelming trouble the entire picture is made of dots even the ability to bring out highlights and shadows with stippling requires Great focus. I love this stupid little drawing because I really brought out the highlights on the front of the zebras face.
