llherself hi. A couple questions: 1. is the waist 25inches, side to side...so doubled it's 50 inches all around? or is it 12 inches side to side so 25 inches all around? 2. Are the pleats semi permanent like accordian pleats (not needing to be ironed)? 3. Finally, what do you mean by "heavyweight"? Thanks much!

southern_picks @llherself no the waist is what is on the description. the pleats do not need to be ironed and the skirt is medium weight, not lightweight. it's a beautiful skirt!

llherself so, the waist is 25 inches when measured flat or all around? I ask because 25inches all around sounds very small for a size "medium."
