Sorry I got a little distracted by the iridescents and tyedye velvets. They already arrived.... thank you for inspiring me to pick all this back up. hypersqueak @gypsythrift22 sweet! I would like to see what stretch over to pick up :-) are they the ones that you had any other listing? I definitely love Paisley for one pair or something that has a good mix of pink purple and blue, I love things with rats and Squids and seals. hypersqueak Oh! So it says active wear and swim. Maybe with a plain black waistband of sturdier fabric? Or would that not work at all? Love the print. I'll wait unless i find more fabric. :)

gypsythrift22 @hypersqueak I’ll check out the fabric link now. It sounds like you narrowed down the right type. Performance fabric, cosplay, 4-Way stretch, are good key words to look for, also anything with spandex or Lycra.

gypsythrift22 @hypersqueak I added a pic to this listing, is this the paisley link you sent me? I couldn’t make the link work, so I just searched the key words. If so then YES, PERFECT! It’s hard to tell the weight of the fabric without touching it, but 4-Way stretch is perfect!! The listing says black background a few times and BROWN background once, so I’ll write and double check.

gypsythrift22 @hypersqueak regarding those dollskill bottoms.... I have seen loads of that type of fabric in my searches. In the shipment I just ordered I was specifically aiming for a solid iridescent rather than the dots, but there are many many many options of that type and I would be happy to stock whatever you decide you’re interested in. 👍👍

hypersqueak @gypsythrift22 I messaged him with the nature of our project and he said it should work! I'm. In. Love. I'd make sure that's black not Brown. That is my ideal pattern if it would work. As for the other fabric: that one is the single most holographic I've seen. Tbh, I am more into other things. :) If that fabric will work I say we go for it and go from there! I've seen some fun Paisley laces. Maybe a black one over one of the fun fabrics you posted already. :) But I love that Paisley!

gypsythrift22 @hypersqueak 💜fabric arrived super fast!! What size did you want me to make? Any other specifications you want to mention ? ....Gauchos with heavier back stretch waistband right? Do you like the wide waistband that folds over ( like yoga pants) or a thin waistband?

hypersqueak @gypsythrift22 that is so exciting!!! I take a size medium in most clothing unless it runs super small Juniors. I'll just give you my measurements. My natural waist is 30 my drop waist is 33. 51 average and my hips are 36. 5. Yes I have a small butt! I would like the length on me is to be a little bit shorter.

hypersqueak @gypsythrift22 I would like the inseam to be around 18 in, maybe an inch or two longer. I basically want them to be an inch or two below the knee. :) A cutoff pair I have is 18 but they sit low. Crotch has room. :)

hypersqueak @gypsythrift22 and that sounds great for the waistband. I just want something that will keep them up but still be comfortable. I'm not opposed to a fold-over waistband it for some reason you think that is the way to go. I did look at the other listing and I'm definitely smaller than a 40 inch waist but it depends on what the small end of the waist is. My drop-waist is 33. 5 so it has to close if it's smaller than that.

hypersqueak @gypsythrift22 also, and since they have a loose fit there's no need to compensate for my butt. I generally have a butt that is two sizes smaller than the rest of my body but I almost never compensate for it unless I'm getting spandex that's tight fitting. I am so excited about this! (the last person I worked with asked me if I was sure I measured my butt right LOL)

gypsythrift22 @hypersqueak where the waistband meets the pants on my medium pattern is (14.5 flat) = 29”. That fabric stretched to 40”, but my heavier weight black fabric will hold a little more and stretch with more resistance. The waistband tapers just a little (slightly smaller at top) to follow waist.
