Elastic side panels to provide flexibility when pulling boots on and a nice comfy snug fit. Tab in back to help with pulling boots on. Please note that the stock photos including photos with model are pics of a slightly different SW ankle bootie, but very similar to show the style and fit. Very comfortable and a true size 10. Due to the elastic side panels, seems to be flexible in fitting different widths. I wear a 10N in boots and these fit perfectly.
