Stunning 1940’s Rothmoor swing coat National Recovery Board label L/XL

Beautiful black Rothmoor coat with the iconic Scotty dog label. In great vintage condition. See details and measurements below. Roomy, swing style coat with single top button. No belt. It does have one thread type loop only at the front edge so you could add a belt but it is a swing coat usually worn without one. No belt loops in back either. Has a pretty beaded type adornment on one collar, giving a nod to Art Deco styling in the 1940s. Research on the labels reflects this is a 1940s coat. Interestingly it has a National Recovery Board label. This was a post depression era trade group formed to monitor fair labor standards for American garment workers. No size label but it would fit size L/XL, approx size 14. please check the following measurements for fit. Measures approx 24” from top of sleeve to cuff measures approx 44 inches long down back from bottom of collar to ms of coat Measures approx 24” underarm to underarm. Really a lovely coat. Interior lining also in very good condition. Has pockets. Hard to find a coat from this era in this good condition! luxury soft fabric imported from France. The Scotty dog label does have previous owner’s lat name written on it. Elegant swing coat!
