Beautiful ring with over one carat of diamonds and brilliant mandarin orange spessertite garnet, sized one and a half carat. The setting is 950 Platinum: very solid, and substantial. Rings aren't made like that anymore, instead much less metal is used. The garnet is tension suspended. It is secure, no give at all. This is a very unique piece, and originally cost over $6,000. It is currently sized to 4, but can definitely be increased without the need of additional platinum, as there's a lot of metal to work with. (Please note, Platinum marking was removed when the ring was sized originally, but it is 950 Platinum. Your jeweler can easily verify it.) No longer wear rings all that much.
