Stunning Vintage 1950s Bullocks Westwood White Lace and Tulle Wedding Prom Dress

I purchased this beautiful dress from the original owner, who was kind enough to share pictures of when she wore it in 1955! *Dress is too small for my mannequin. Zipper works great, the mannequin is just too big! Features: Floral lace strips Gathered white tulle strips, the underskirt is gathered white tulle as well Lined Metal side zipper Tags: Bullock’s Westwood Collegienne, Cotillion Formals. Dress is in very good vintage condition and presents beautifully. There are some mended areas in the lace that don’t show unless you closely examined. There may be more breaks in the lace but if so they aren’t obvious and can be mended. Some slight discoloration to bodice (slightly yellowed from age). At back hem of lace there is some very slight discoloration that you may be able to get out with cleaning. Once it is on an actual body I don’t think the discolorations will show. The lining is off-white, so that hides some of the discoloration. The hem likes to turn up instead of down, you could probably stitch it down if it bothers you. Measurements are taken with the garment laying flat and doubled as appropriate. Measurements are of the garment itself and the fabric is NOT stretchy! Bust measured at the widest part of the bust: 31-32” Waist: 22” Hips: open Overall length from center top of back to hem of lining: 39 3/4” Skirt length of lining is 33 3/8” from waist to hem (tulle extends a little beyond that) Bodice length measured at the center from top of back to waist: 6.5”
