Stunning Vintage 1999 F/W Collection Missoni Sweater Dress

This was my Millennium Dress. I bought it at the Portland, OR Nordstrom store and wore it in Vegas for the Millennium with my friends. If you watch the YouTube video of the F/W 1999 Milan runway show, you will see the neckline, but I didn’t see the exact dress. See last photo. Features: Soft Missoni knit Sexy pattern that hugs every curve Drop shoulders You can wear it either way, I don’t think there is a front or back to it Neckline goes up to a point on both sides Hem is higher in the middle and lower on the sides Tags say: Missoni made in Italy, size 40 (please see measurements to ensure proper fit!). 50% rayon, 42% wool, 8% nylon. Professionally dry clean low moisture steam only. Dress is in very good vintage condition. There was just one small area with a moth nibble that was professionally re-woven at Nordstrom so it is barely visible. See photo where I circled it. Just the tiniest bit of pilling on the bottom of the sleeves. Measurements are taken with garment lying flat and doubled as appropriate. Measurements are of the garment itself, and the knit fabric is quite stretchy. I am giving a small range, I am not fully stretching it as it wouldn’t look very good if worn like that. Bust measured at the widest point of the diamond on top: 34-36” Waist at narrowest point: 23-25” Hips: 30-34” Overall length from center top of shoulder to longest area of hem: 43” approximately Overall length from center top of shoulder to shortest area of hem: 39” approximately
