Stunning and Dramatic 80’s era “Dynasty” Dress

The tags have been cut out of this dress, so I am unsure of the brand. However, it’s very similar in style and quality to Martinique, Abby Kent, Victor Costa or Jack Bryan. It’s a deep rich true purple color, with no hint of blue. I have struggled to capture the true color, regardless of lighting. I finally decided natural light was best, but still it doesn’t do the shade justice. Since there are no tags, it’s hard to judge the size. I took measurements (below) but I worry about accuracy due to the voluminous design. On a whim I tried it on, and it fits me comfortably. My current measurements are: W: 30, B: 38, H: 43. Yes, I’m a true pear. With that in mind, though it fit just fine, this dress was NOT flattering on my body type. It easily added 20 pounds. However, If you are a slim hipped apple, this dress was made with YOU in mind! Condition is flawless, it’s incredibly striking, and it would be an amazing part of any collection. Measurements (flat): W: 19.5 in. B: 18.5 in. H: 20 in. Shoulder to hem: 50 in. (back is slightly longer; pictured) Waist to hem: 24 in.
